The sixth session for 2025 of the Harry Bridges School of Labor will be on Trade Unions in the Fight Against Fascism. We will start with defining the class-basis of fascism. We will then show how the trade unions worked in the Peoples’ Front against fascism, focusing on France in the mid-1930s. Finally we will look at the role the trade unions played in the war effort during World War 2. This session with take place on Wednesday June 4th at 8pm EDT/5pm PDT and Saturday June 7th at 7pm EDT/4pm PDT.
